Bella Coola River British Columbia's western coast and into its interior is occupied by the Coast Mountains, cut through by several lakes and rivers running into the Pacific Ocean, causing the coastline to reach deep inside the province in several locations. The Bella Coola River is actually a small stretch of a much larger river, the Atnarko, and is teeming with steelhead cutthroat trout, chinook, sockeye, coho, chum and pink salmon. |
