Mackenzie Rock
Mackenzie Rock, located 50 km (31 m) west of Bella Coola in the Sir Alexander Mackenzie Provincial Park, marks the completion of the Scottish explorer's voyage across North America in 1793, the first recorded crossing of its kind. Mackenzie's inscription was originally done in red dye but today is engraved on the rock which can only be reached by boat.

Tallheo Cannery
Located on the river at the base of Mt. Pootlass lies Tallheo Cannery, a cluster of buildings which were at one time a thriving cannery and fishing community. Tours include a boat ride across the North Bentinck Arm, a lunch or dinner of barbecued salmon and access to the former cannery, store and post office.

Wilderness Elegance Cooking School
The owners of the Wilderness Elegance B&B put on a five day cooking course which includes hands-on instruction, accommodation at the B&B, breakfasts, activity days with picnic lunches provided and dinner prepared by the instructor and students. Wine is served each evening to compliment the meal.
